Are you folks ready for the "Run(ble) in the Jungle"? As your race volunteers put on the finishing touches to what promises to be a very exciting weekend we would like to remind you of the following:
We will be using Succeed Ultra as your electrolyte drink at the event.
The runner check in will begin Friday at 3:30 p.m. We will likely be there earlier if you would like to grab your race bag. You are encouraged to bring a chair to the brief.
Monday night banquet tickets will be sold at the pre race brief for $40.00 each. This will be the only time we are selling the tickets.
Do not bring drop bags to pre race brief. Bring your drop bags on race morning and place them in the appropriate place ( sites to be labeled)
Please remind your crew that while we love their enthusiasm we don't want to see them at the first aid station at Paradise Park in Manoa. We need to get our volunteers in there so they can set up for you folks.
Speaking of crews please have them print their own maps from this site prior to heading out. Unlike the past we will not have any available on Friday afternoon.
We are working diligently to provide runner tracking throughout the event. We will post a link to this blog when that is finalized.
On race morning you are required to check in once again. We will have a table set up. This is a mandatory check in, we need to know who is out on the trail.
Pre / race and post race we need volunteers to mark/ pull down trail marking ribbon. Please contact trail marking coordinator Don
During the event we hope you take the time to thank the volunteers who have put forth a great deal of time and energy into this event so that you all might have memories that will last a lifetime.
We look forward to seeing you all. As we sit here typing this the clouds have opened up and the rain has begun. It must be time for the H.U.R.T. 100 again.
