Here it is: The 2008 H.U.R.T. 100 Application

With much anticipation, the 2008 H.U.R.T. 100 race application is here. I have received inquires from all across the U.S. and from as far away as Iraq, asking when the application will be available.

It's here. Yep, or click here and get your application in. As I said before, your training runs and commitment will definitely take on a new dimension once you send in the application and entry fee. There is something about setting a goal and making a commitment that motivates most people to strive a little harder.

Instructions for the H.U.R.T. 100 Application

Aloha Runners,

I see the timer counting down to the much anticipated day of June 19, 2007. I have been informed by Bob that this site will have the 2008 H.U.R.T. 100 application available at 12:01 a.m.on 6/19/07. You just might want to set your alarms and be the first to print it out, and get in the morning mail. However, before you go through all that trouble we would like you to do the following.  As many of you know we don't believe in many rules and we really do want to keep things simple, but the following are must do items;

1.) Read the Runner's Rules and procedures on the site before signing and sending your application. We have adopted a couple new things this year and we will hold the runner's responsible.

2.) Print out the application and fill it out in it's entirety. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

3.) Print legibly, so that PJ can make sure we get the appropriate spelling of your name.

4.) Enclose a check for $140.00. We will not hold spots without funds.

5.) Mail your completed entry ASAP.

A canceled check will be your proof of acceptance into the race. We will provide periodic updates with the accepted runner list on this site and let you know how many slots are still available. Please be patient as this process is normally done during all of our leisure hours.

2008 H.U.R.T. 100 Race Application

The 2008 H.U.R.T. 100 Trail Race application will be available on June 19th, seven months from the start of the race. Get ready runners. Send those applications in early. We anticipate the race to fill quickly this year so we encourage you to send your application in as soon as possible.

One thing to note, when you make the commitment of sending in your application, your commitment to train will also go up knowing that you'll be spending a beautiful weekend in Hawaii come January. Don't hesitate, there are only 100 slots for runners.
