Pictures from the Pre-Race Meeting

Typepad was down for scheduled maintenance tonight. Ugh! Anyway, I was able to load up some photos from tonight's pre-race meeting. It was fun to see everyone. Lots of new faces too. Best of luck to everyone.

It's going to be a great race!!

Click here to see the photo's. Remember to click on the first photo and they will get bigger. Sorry--didn't have time for captions.

Off to sleep! Aloha, Bob

Less than 24 hours to Start Time

Lots of last minute race preparation going on today. Trails are being marked, aid station supplies are being packed and rechecked, and some of us are still organizing our drop bags.

We've got the pre-race meeting this afternoon (3:30 p.m. at the Nature Center) which is always fun as it is a great time to see all the runners prior to the start.

Important Note: To communicate with this site during the race, use the comments feature and click on comments after each post. Race volunteers will be busy and with the addition of HAM radio volunteers, we hope to be able to offer regular and frequent updates. I will be running so I will obviously not be checking my e-mail until Monday.

Good luck to all the runners!! Aloha, Bob

Post Race Dinner Information-Monday 5:30 p.m.

We will continue the tradition of having the post-race dinner at the Willows Restaurant in Honolulu. Please let us know at the pre-race meeting if you are coming so we can get an estimate of how many people will be attending. This dinner is a great time to connect with other runners and crew, tell and listen to all of the race stories, and just relax in the great atmosphere of the Willows after the race. Dress is casual-post race.
